Great night stay at Great Northern Highway. The entrance is around 500 meter from the parking bay. It’s free to stay for 48 hours. The noise from the road trains can be loud but we didn’t have a problem with it. Nice views at the lake as well.

Great night stay. We were lucky and had water in the lake. No one else there that night. It’s far enough from the road not to be annoyed by the trucks all night. Recommend it.

A quiet place, good for our short night. Drive the dirt road to the end. There is no toilet. Flies ar daytime.

Nice spot for one night! Great view and quiet No toilets etc but fire

Stopped over here for one night, the lake has heaps of water in it. Sunset over the lake was incredible, as were the stars. No facilities, some road train traffic noise but the night we stayed the noise seemed to stop around 9pm and didn’t start again until the morning, so it was quite bearable. A beautiful spot for an overnight stay.
