Top campsite, a little further back than indicated in the app. 🤩 It has good 4G coverage.
Clean and quiet, out of town. Lots of small parking spots for RVs amongst some trees. Full 4G phone reception
Great site next to Merredin Peak (amazing historic water race). The night I stayed was very quiet with only a couple of motorhomes/campers. No facilities but highly recommended for self contained. Cellphone coverage.
Recommend this lovely quiet space. Well done Merredin. Lovely to walk up the embankment and have a wine at sunset overlooking the dam or walk up the top of the rock and sit and look over the town and watch the sun go down.
Large free 24 hour campground at the Railway Dam in Merredin, WA with limited facilities. Must be self-contained. Dirt/gravel and sandy base with some shade. No facilities. Excellent Telstra, Optus and TV reception. Suited as an overnight stay. Quiet and peaceful and close to town. Good hike around the railway dam and up onto Merredin Rock.
It’s a great free camp. However remember you need a grey water tank to stay here.
Great stop for the night, we always stop here to and from Perth.
Great spot to stop over at. Plenty of room and good mobile phone service. Looking forward to having a look around this nice town.
Excellent overnighter great views from top of rock, plenty. To see ... Old railway dam, army hospital ruins.... Town has abundance of RV parking and great shopping. Don't drive past.
You can stay here for the night without any problems. Unfortunately there were many mosquitoes and flies in February. Otherwise completely fine for a stop without sitting outside.
