Such a great camp site! By driving between the arrow signs in the bend, you can access a huge number of campsites no problem. It was quite busy, but no one seemed crowded. We watched the sunset and had one of the most beautiful night skies. You can barely hear the road as well, which is a plus, and you can make fires (we were there in July and it was permitted).
Amazing spot, amazing views. Enormous Easy to miss the turning- drive THROUGH the reflective chevrons on the bend. There are parks up to 500m back. If you use the bush as your toilet, PLEASE bag up your tissues and bin them especially wet wipes that do not biodegrade. There are heaps of used tissues pinned down by a rock. It’s yuck
One of the most beautiful camps in Australia!!
Absolutely beautiful spot. No facilities. Campers were all making campfires so I guess it was allowed.
Fantastic spot. Spectacular views, quiet area, lots of room. Small hikes available. Best we’ve stayed at.
Very large rest area. Super quiet and away from the highway. Worth the slight detour North from junction rest area. Sunset and sunrise magnificent.
Lovely scenic spot with plenty of spaces to park up, quiet. Was a pleasant place to overnight.
Very clean place very nice view, quiet no toilet just a table and trash cans
What an amazing spot to camp. Views are breathtaking. Need to fully contained. Fires allowed and several pits dotted about. Not to be missed! BW.
