Nice view and quiet place. We could go using a 2WD just following the red track. Even with high tide it is fine to get and stay there. No toilets or bin provided so please take your rubbish with you. Be careful with crocs.
Be mindful of the tide. And also watch out for the hermit crabs, they are everywhere at night ! Very nice spot !
Good free camp with lovely views. Two local crocs and I’ve seen a stray dog in the morning, so be cautious. If the tide is 8.30m, you can camp on the rocks without a problem. But be aware of rising tides.
Nice freecamp. Pretty busy but there’s plenty of space. Road might be a bit too sandy for a 2wd. Watch out for the resident croc :)
Its open and a lovely Spot to sleep
It’s closed. I have to look for another place... From over 8pm...
Managed in a Subaru Forester but was dodgey as. Recommend 4wd only. Had to air down. Old road closed, track now a single lane bush track through sand. Real problem when you hit oncoming traffic and need to pull over without being bogged. Actual spot looks lovely, reminds me of the Whitsundays when it’s at low tide. Giant horseflies around.
Did it in a 2wd. It had its difficulties but it is manageable. Lots of flies and mosquitos, but definitely a very nice campsite with a lovely view.
I did with station wagon 2wd you can do it without 4wd don’t in a soft sand ;) should be fine. Beautiful place
We do it in van, weak path a little sand but it's ok. On the other hand on the campsite not nice oup place to spend in van stay close to the road. There was only us this time. Quiet and beautiful sunset. Beware of crocodiles we have seen!
