Decent enough car space which is locked by gate at night beautiful loop hike from the car park too

Hi guys, space is ok, but dangerous area. We went for a hike, 1 hour gone, when we come back our van had two windows broken (the stole some of our stuff). Police said it's very common at that place and happened few times in last few weeks. Also no signal, you have to drive 2km to get some. Take care

Parking for several vehicles, at the end of a road so very quiet at night, impeccable toilets with hand dryer!! Drinking water fountain. The hiking trails are busy in the morning, a very pleasant walk and very well maintained. Be careful, no phone signal, unless you're lucky next to the downstairs toilet!

Great place. Clean toilets and water fountain. Great forest to hike in the morning.

This spot is open again. Simple gravel car park, flat enough. Very quiet, the barriers close for the night. Toilet and drinking water available all night. No cell phone reception at all. Amazing spot if you want to go see the kauri trees!
