The campsite is closed June-October for tents and non-selfcontained cars. Also the website only opens to an „error“

Considering there is a CSC site for the same price below it, this is a really nice spot. $18, which I still think is a little pricy but there’s cold shower, grill, wash stations, drinking water and toilets. They are drop toilets so really smell and attract a lot of flies. But other than that it’s a great little spot just out of Auckland

We loved this place. Stayed here 31 dec 2025. They have longdrop toilets with paper, dishwashingstation and cold shower. Plenty of space on the green field surrounded by nature.

There is drinking water and a sink to wash the dishes. Toilet is smelly and lots of flies at night. But it is a peaceful park especially on weekday nights

Beautiful quiet spot, lovely rangers, decent cold showers and well-kept toilets. Plenty of walks/runs and the birdsong!

Nice spot, but during Easter buzzy.. Music all night long. Anyway planty grass spaces, good toiletts, nice view. Remember that you need entry code for locked gate! Need booked in advance and the gate is sharp locked from 9 pm.

Great spot and campsite! With the booking before I arrived it went than quick! Plenty of perfect green gras to choose the right spot. Somebody introduced me shortly when I arrived. The beach isn't far. Also super near Auckland. And calm!

Super quiet campsite. Sometimes one or the other bird runs past you. There are 3X dry toilets. Sunny or shady places available. You can only book online. But you have to register first. After booking, you will receive an email with a code that you can use to open the lock. A beautiful bay is right next door!
