Best place in and around Auckland.

Auckland does not put signs up designating if freedom camping is allowed, because it is effectively banned in the whole district through their bylaws. Just assume everywhere around the city is prohibited and camp at your own risk.

Big car park with public toilets/showers on the beach (which are looked 8pm-6am). No signs prohibiting overnight stay :) perfect location for Auckland stay morning swim? Free as well ;)
