10/10 campsite. Our favourite of our trip so far, clean showers and clean toilet. Quiet campground with a free frisbee golf course. As well as trails and overall lovely experience. Defo recommend.
A beautiful park, we stayed here for a night at the Top Flat Site. Which was perfect as it was right by the water with all the ducks, geese etc. Showers are about 5-10minute walk up to Pin Oak and are nice enough. We walked-up to the showers just before sunset and then walked the glowworm trail and back along the river to top flat. If you do this it will be very dark on the walk back 🔦. Highlight for us was the glowworms we were the only two on the track so was like our own private tour.
A very beautiful, well-maintained park with many birds and a lake right next to McLaren Falls. It's all very spacious, so there's plenty of room, and with toilets, showers, washing-up facilities, and a BBQ, everything you need is there. Definitely okay. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the natural surroundings to relax.
$30 per adult each night. Park rangers come around each night to check payments have been made. Beautiful park. Gate closes at 7:30pm in summer and 5:30pm in winter. You cannot get in after those times so please make sure you have everything you need for the night.
Awesome area, glow worms at night were a bonus! Really clean amenities, rangers do come around and check bookings - can book on arrival through QR code if spaces are available!
Very nice and quite spot. Clean toilets and good showers but a bit expensive. Paid 65$ for two adult+1one child without power. The glow worm track is amazing
Loved it here, definitely do the glowworm track at dusk! $50 for two. Hot shower was lovely! We booked online
Great camp site! Up there with the best free camps I’ve stayed at! Free Hot Showers, lots of space and very quiet! Highly recommend!
Beautiful location, with short and longer walks accessible from the camp-sites. Although the Pin Oak area is the only one with showers, we stayed at other sites and it was great, less busy, good access to toilet anyway and better views right by the lake. 25$ per person is a high cost but we thought it was worth it.
Beautiful site but confusing where to set up. 25pp (NZD 50 for 2) seems really expensive! Unmanned so book online.
