The staff are amazing - so hopeful and friendly, the grounds are spotless, the facilities are great, there are fun activities for the whole family, and the ablution block is currently being upgraded which will be another awesome touch to this already supurb park. 10 out of 5 stars! Unfortunately not a great experience. A lot of noise from construction going on started at around 8am which when on a holiday is not pleasant. Also the showers were very dirty with mud and grass all over them.

Loved this campsite! After a few days freedom camping I was after somewhere with decent facilities and this delivered. Very friendly welcome from the receptionist, the toilets and showers were spotless with nice added touches like shelves in the toilets and the radio playing. Very clean kitchen, note that there were no utensils or pans/crockery so you’ll need to have your own. Wash/dry $4 but you do get 70 mins of drying time! A nice 10 min walk along the riverbank to the nearest supermarket 😌

This place is one of our favourites. $25 for a powered site if you have your NZMCA, which feels cheap for how much they offer here. The park is so lovely and tidy, The dump station is the best one we have ever used. The bathrooms are really nice and clean and the showers are free and it has unlimited hot water. All in all, I cannot recommend this park enough! You will regret it if you don't stay here!

28 NZD pp/pn for unpowered site. Half a meter in-between the sites, so definitely on the small side. Not even levelled, so can't recommend for the price.

Loved this place! 25$ non powered site, if you pay 2 nights, the 3rd is Free! Super clean facilities, close to the estuary, nice staff

Great Campsite. $25 for 1 person on an unpowered site. Good camp kitchen (bring your own pots, pans, utensils, crockery etc). Everything is very clean. free hot showers. There’s even a pool. Easy walk to shops and supermarket. I had planned on staying 1 night but stayed for 3. Highly recommended.
