Only 4 spaces for freedom camping. Was already occupied at 3pm. We drove 20 min further.

Beautiful location with direct access to the beach. Restrooms open 24/7. Dump station with drinking water available. Possibility to stay camping for 3 nights.

2 min walk to a beautiful beach. You can see White Island on a clear day and the steam plumes above it which is very cool. A decent amount of space but fills up quickly. Had 2 spaces left at 3pm. The toilets smell bad but are reasonably clean. Dump station & water refill available. Felt safe overnight as lots of other campers around but was very dark outside which was a little spooky. Outdoor beach shower, play park & water fountain. Some odd characters around late morning

Really beautiful site on the oceanfront, a very large beach with cold showers near the children's park. Possibility to drain waste water and fill with clean water. Really clean toilets. The parking lot can hold 8-10 vehicles provided you park behind the others.

Amazing camp site with a very nice dump station and rubbish bins as well! Not so many places to stay so better be early. We had a good night there! The dump station (with drinking water) made it even better so you can empty and fill up your camper in the morning. Direct access to the beach but can be noisy due to the sea in the night. Definitely a recommendation!

Very nice parking space right on the beach. Barbecue area available. Ideal for long walks on the beach.

The best campsite so far! It's always relatively full, but you can still somehow find space there. The toilets were great and even had lights. The sewage station was great too! Since you're right on the beach, you can go for a walk in the morning or evening and enjoy your dinner with a view.

Really nice spot, arrived at around 3 and squeezed into a spot on the end, loads of other vans parked on the grass ‘no parking’ areas anyway though. Flush toilets, right on the beach, running water and dump station. Felt safe at night

Fantastic freedom camping site. Set on an amazing beach in a lovely area. Flush toilets and drinking water available. Small site so spaces fill pretty early, but people seem pretty good at moving around. Lovely walks nearby, close drive to town, feels safe. Definitely recommend.
