What they charge is so worth it. Each camp site has power available. Hot and good pressure showers. They are based right by the beach to go for walks, swim or fishing it's beautiful. And they are 10 to 20 mins away from Whakatane. Washing machine and dryer is available and everything is a good price. $4 for washing machine and the dryer the same price. Showers are $1 for 5mins. Kitchen has stove tops and microwave and jugs. So coming back. Lovely reception and ladies are so welcoming and helpful

Well equipped campsite with fantastic facilities. Location was great with safe swimming in the lagoon and camp is quiet at night. We were hoping to go for a long walk on the beach but it was just too soft and difficult from all the 4x4s and motorbikes cutting up the sand but we were more than happy to sit and watch all the fishing instead. Only spoilt by motorbikes racing around on Saturday evening but they went home when it got dark.

Found this gem of a place by chance. Very well kept and right on beach with river and estuary accessible for great fishing. A big tick from us

Nice, very well kept campsite. Excellent facilities, Friendly hosts. Enjoyed watching the locals fishing at the River mouth catching lots of Kawhai as they swim upriver to spawn.

Great camp and spectacular coast. We'll bring our surf casting rods next time. Excellent, clean facilities and the owners were very friendly.

Great stay. New and modern facilities. Quiet and spacious. On the beach and right next to the lagoon which was great for swimming. Hosts were excellent.

We normally freedom camp but as we had our 2 grandsons with us (7 & 4) we decided we’d stay at a campground for a change. Well what a great choice this one was, such a well laid out and clean & tidy park plus Louise & Glenn are awesome hosts. Kids had a ball here and want to go back, can’t fault it and thanks for the Campsaver rate!!
