We are a Dutch couple traveling with two young kids (0 and 3). We loved this hike, the views are spectacular and it was easy to do. It took us around 1,5 hours.

Not too much interest

Nice walk through farmland. We didnt find the kettle hole that interesting but the views were great.

Beautiful view of Lake Pukaki. 1 mins walk from the car park, there is a big gate and just next to it on the left you see a little gate with doc sign, that's the starting point for the walk. You can do the loop around the kettle hole. Nice short walk!

Small walk without difficulties, and what a view ...... Incredible!

Nice short walk! We did it in the morning and it was so beautiful and nice to sit at the top start your day

Short walk on ridge above lake. Stay on lake side of fence. Lots of grass covered rabbit holes that is an easy way to twist an ankle. Two benches and a couple of info boards explaining kettle hole. Trail seemed to continue past kettle but because no shade and forgot sunblock, we didn’t venture further. Overall nice views of mt cook and lake if you don’t mind the traffic noise below.

Nice short and easy hike, the start is a bit hard to find. Great view over the lake! also interesting information about the kettle hole and the former glacier.
