Why bother if self contained? Parking on land, go to any freedom camp spot. Shower? Go to Kiwa pools, it's only $5.80 (currently). One of the most expensive spots in NZ for what they offer
$25 for 1 person on an unpowered site. Very clean kitchen but bring your own pans and utensils. Lots of fridge and freezers space . Super clean toilets and showers. You need a $1 coin for a 5 minute shower. A good option in Gisborne as there’s not a lot of choice.
Für den Preis, wird zu wenig geboten.. Dusche kostet extra, WLAN auch nur 500 MB für eine Übernachtung... Reinigungsarbeiten in der Küche zwischen 9 &11 Uhr (um die z da würde ich lieber 60$.
I'm sorry but this site felt like extremely expensive. Paid for an unpowered 'site' (Park where you want on a small field.) Showers cost extra $ per 5 mins (why is there a cost when you pay upfront?!). They weren't exactly clean with spiders all over the walls. Big kitchen but hardly any utensils. No drinking water - resident said she drinks it but it tastes funny so would probably avoid. Some of the residents had a loud shouting match around 10pm. The only decent thing about this stay was the couple of lady residents we encountered and the reception lady I spoke to via email. I wouldn't stay again. Sorry, I'm not normally a negative nelly but this site annoyed me.
Stayed there for 2 weeks, the staff was very helpful and the residents very welcoming. The common spaces are very clean, and once you know where to be to get the wifi, all’s good - although there is a limited allowance which can be too little… Well, you find other things to do instead!
Nice campground with plenty of room, showers etc handy to everything. Friendly staff make sure you're there before they go home for the day.
Friendly stuff, all the facilities were really clean. washer machine, dryer, 5 min shower. wifi connection, it's supposed to work for 24 hrs but barely worked for 2 hrs and there were issues all the time.
Dog friendly, lovely clean grounds. Toilet and shower block nearest to us needs to be replaced, however this is all money. If you are self contained it’s not an issue. Did not look at the other facilities. Very friendly staff on arrival.
Paid per night and office open Mon - Fri 8 am - 5 pm and no after hours contact. Otherwise clean and tidy
We stayed here for a night (paid for 2 people, unpowered site). Seemed we're the only tourists on camp ground. Others are season works or permanent residents; they're quite friendly. Toilet, shower (paid for 5 min) and kitchen are quite clean. Need to have your own pots etc.
