Pretty disappointed. Nowhere on the website does it say the sauna and ice bath cost an extra $40 per person per use. The spa bath is also so full of chlorine it's unusable due to fumes. The sites are also tiny, so in busy times you are right up super close to your neighbour's. The good thing is it is set off the road so you don't hear traffic noise and the water pressure in the shower is decent. But... definitely not worth the cash and not as lux as the website makes it look
Absolutely positive experience. Three nights spent here in May. Very little off. Clean bathrooms, nice staff and good lounges
We stayed two nights in our campervan at this fantastic campsite. The sanitary facilities were practically brand new and always very clean. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed a hike at Te Mate, which was very close by. We highly recommend this campsite.
We loved it here! Clean, quiet. Warm pool and spa pool. 10/10.
Definitely the best campsite I’ve visited ever. This is more like a spa resort than a campsite. Everything’s top notch - design and quality. Super friendly and helpful staff, the pool is from heaven. Views of Te Mara. Writing about it makes me wanna go back. Stayed at a powered site which comes with grey water dump and fresh water.
A beautiful luxury resort with gorgeous grounds, a pool and 2 hot tubs. The showers, toilets and kitchen are lovely, and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. We paid $60 for an unpowered site with a campervan. There is an on-site bistro open Thursday - Saturday. They also have 4 bikes (non-electric) which you can hire to explore the nearby wineries and farmers market.
Stay here! The best campsite we've visited in NZ. The site is small and friendly, toilets and kitchen are luxurious, and there's a swimming pool! North Havelock is also a super cool town with loads of food/drink options.
Lovely spot for our campervan. Team was amazing and gave great local recommendations. Made us feel so welcome. Terrific facilities too - best we have seen, making such a lovely experience!
💯 worth it. Pitch a tent ⛺ between the rows of apple cause we were working around the areas during 🍎 season and it was the best decision we ever made. Very Pet friendly and it was the only place in the Hawks Bay that was truly followed through with what they advertise "Pet friendly" staffs are friendly and welcoming the whole place worth to explore for yourself. Highly recommend 😊
Went by the reviews here, and boy it was worth it. A first class high end site for the price of a top10 (if not cheaper than some). We were given the option to park in between the apple trees or on the green, both were great, and bonus being there in the apple season. Staff lovely, facilities impeccable, would highly recommend.
