It's worth it, several trail choices, well maintained.
10/10!!!
Lovely walks, from 1.3 to 5.5km and nice drive to the peak too which has amazing views!
Very steep and winding road but we got our large campervan up to the top carpark. Worth the effort to see the great views all around
We parked our car at the Main Car Park (there are also toilets) and then went up the big round about 2 hours to the peak and hiked down again. But there are also shorter routes. Way is shown very well. Nice vantage point with good foresight. Highly recommended.
Unfortunately I was lazy and drove to the very top (my apologies to all nature&hike lovers here??) But I really enjoyed the view! Totally worth a stop! Be careful with the narrow roads to the top though. If you’re a beginner, PLEASE just park at the Café and walk your way up :)
Superb place, I advise you to do the blue track, life is beautiful
Scenic location. However, the signage leaves much to be desired. We only fought about 3 hours through the world to find the way back to. A visit is worth it. Just drive to the summit
What a place! Try to park at the entrance where the toilets water fountain and info boards are rather than driving to the top. This will enable you to go on foot on really good tracks. I took the blue trail but the red may well be as much of a gem!
Definitely must visit if you’re in Napier/Hastings! Parked my car in main carpark. There are toilets and water fountain available. Hiked all the way up using red track. The views are incredible just as the journey to the top. So worth it!!❤️
