Very cute little stop in Foxton. Had no idea of the history of windmills and how they work lovely service and you're shown how to play traditional Dutch games!
Really a must visit for Dutch people, not necessary the mill (/shop) but the museum next to it and the super nice café with Poffertjes, Pannenkoeken, Frikandel, Kroket and Appeltaart etc
Nice volunteers staff, nice location, a lot to learn. 2$ for person. Nice souvenir and good food shop.
Eat a lovely spek pannekoek at the dutch oven!
Beautiful location, and great shop where you can buy typical Dutch food. The library has a great exhibit on the dutchiess in NZ. Try the bitterballs at the Dutch oven as well ?
Nice little spot. $2 pp donation to go to the top of the mill. Walk a little ways into town for beautiful locally made items.
Nice little shop with lots of Dutch goods. Lovely owners! Café the Dutch Oven was not that good. Pancakes definitely not Dutch and not well cooked! Would have love to learn them how to make real Dutch pancakes!
