Stayed here while coming back from Wellington, as we were coming after hours we were left with clear instructions. The site was super clean ,the kitchen space and the outdoor space for bbq are also really nice. Every shower has there own individual sink and hairdryer and enough hot water. Toilets were clean as well. Each powered site is evenly flattened for a better experience. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Very good site, super facilities, very well organized and great wellcome. One of the Best we went
This was a last minute decision to book here & how glad we did! It has everything a motorhome traveller needs, lots of amenities, spotlessly clean & very well organised with a friendly welcome. We wish we had time to stay here longer
Very welcoming. The campsite is very well equipped. $60 for two people with a fully charged campervan. The beach is close. It's noisy during the day because of the motocross bikes and ATVs that go by to ride on the beach, which is a shame. However, it's very quiet at night.
Very friendly staff, everything neat and clean, good facilities. Very nice campground close to the sea, definitely worth a visit!
Nice spot to pull up the campervan over night on the way down the coast to Wellington. Cute town on the riverside. Fishing from beach or jetty. Park was quiet mid Aug. Very clean facilities. Lots of kitchen appliances and fridge space. Nice BBQ and seating area. Very spacious shower cubicles each with own sink, bench, hair-dryer and even a heater! Coin operated washing machine and dryer - $5 each.
Late arrival, very warm welcome. The showers and toilets are very clean and well signposted. The campsite is close to the very pleasant beach.
Overpriced mid week camp $56. Beaut estuary view from campspot and good playground, but that was about it. Games room was ancient with a table tennis setup and a TV that doesn't work. Nothing much to do. Kitchens had no pots pans etc to use and were definitely not modern though had signage stating were coming up for renovation.
Rather expensive campsite, we paid $35/person for a powered site. The internet connection is not good quality and we were invaded by beetles as soon as night fell. Rather disappointed, I would have gone to a free camp if I had known.
Stayed at this campground for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. The showers wer great (there was a time limit, but kt was enough for me, even though I have long hair, so it shouldn't be a problem to others I'd say). They even had hairdryers. The facilities were clean, Wifi worked well, staff was friendly. Facilities for sitting inside while it was raining. ... Just all you need. Really enjoyed my stay.
