The access road costs $15 for maintenance

Easy track that is accessible during summer. Took me 24minutes from the carpark. Water is crisp and cold but good for a swim. Dog friendly too

Inaccessible during ski season

Beautiful hike through the ski area, the arrival on Lake Alta is superb, ice when we arrived in May 2020.

The best thing we have done for sometime!Spectacular scenery everywhere you look. We drove up in our 6m camper, only the last four kms are not sealed/gravel. The track is well signed and marked with yellow poles, and not very difficult. We are 72 and 65 and absolutely loved getting up here on this glorious sunny day.

Really windy, but a pretty little lake and the walk is not too hard. Only the road to the starting point is kind of tricky
