I feel this hasn’t been updated for awhile You do not pay extra for wifi it’s free The bathrooms are very clean, painted and new It’s $2 for a 6 min shower which is normal while travelling around Late checkin is also handy just ring them and they’ll help you and having a dump station is great too There prices are very reasonable considering some of the places we’ve stayed
So the place is fine. However and this is a BIG however you have to pay to take a shower!!! This honestly feels unacceptable and like a ripoff. You PAY to go to this campsite and you have to pay extra for showers. If the prices were cheaper I would expect that but not at that price range. We’ve been to a lot of DOC camp sites and you expect there to not have showers but to pay 2$ for showers really feels like a ripoff
Chose this campsite since it was possible for a late arrival, which was fine, got an envelope with directions. However main reason to stay at a paid campsite with our selfcontained van is to have a nice shower. Already feels a bit weird having to pay for a shower (feel like it should be included). But it was £2 for 5 min, took a while before the shower got hot so had to pay for an additonal 5 min and the water pressure was bad so still struggled to properly wash and rinse my hair.
Nice campground with all facilities you need. Bathroom and kitchen were clean and the staff was very nice and easy with a late check-in.
This is such a chill place, people have been camping here for year after year and that's a good sign. Doing your laundry is 2 nzd, cold only. Showers are 2 nzd for 5 minutes. People at the reception are friendly. Not a lot of sandflies. If I ever for whatever reason come back to Murchison I am definitely staying here again.
Such a great stop! We arrived late while driving toward Abel Tasman and were so glad we chose Kiwi Park. It was easy to pay online for a powered site and just pick our spot when we got there. The sites are very spacious (plenty of room for any size camper). In the morning, the owners even let me join them to feed the farm animals, which was such a fun and unique experience! They were very friendly and welcoming, and the whole place had a relaxed, peaceful vibe. Highly recommend this campground!
It was very quiet when we stayed, we were just passing through and needed a place for the night. Just register at reception and pick your own site. The facilities are older but functional and clean. $2 for a 5 minute hot shower. Nice large lounge area and nice kitchen. Not much toad noise. Would definitely stay again.
Awesome place to spend the night! Clean facilities, quick check in. Wish we had time to feed the animals but we had to leave early the following morning. Highly recommend and would definitely return!
Very nice place. Nothing fancy but great with the animals for the kids and nice hosts who let the kids fed the animals. Toilets and kitchen bit worn. (Kitchen equipped)
