Great spot with lovely views. Facilities tired and in need of a bit of TLC but generally clean.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was lovely, the campsite itself is lovely and doesn’t feel cramped. The facilities such as laundry, toilets and shower are clean and easy to use. It was really quiet and peaceful and the view is great. Plenty of options to watch sunrise or sunset. Staff are lovely. Definitely recommend.

Really nice site sitting above the ocean with great views. $34pn for a spot a little further back but still only a 20m walk to the view. Clean bathrooms, shower water was a little temperamental but when it got hot it got really hot! The site is nicely tucked away and quiet. Lot of ducks as visitors to the van. My only gripe would be the 1gb limit per day wifi. With how much people need and use wifi nowadays honestly 1gb is literally about 15 mins of a tv show streaming! Frustrating!

We really enjoyed our stay! Even if the ocean view site is not the cheapest, I think it totally worth the money as the view, location and facilities are great. I also loved that the wachibe machines / dryer work with credit card and no coins are needed 😄 Take a walk in the morning to the harbour and get a cup of fresh coffee and bread! Fast wifi!

The best camp in the North Island! Big, hot and clean showers. There are several large and pleasant kitchens. Nice rest room and the area is beautiful and sits on the boardwalk of the town. The team goes through and cleans the camp throughout the day. The receptionist helped me a lot in planning the rest of the trip to Mount Tranaki and in general. Highly recommended!

A little expensive nice campsite. Lovely staff, amazing views of the water, decent and clean facilities. Showers have great heat and pressure. FYI The ‘spa’ is just a hot tub. ‘Free WiFi’ is 1gb. Well located campsite but some pitches a little uneven.
