Lovely spot just 5 minutes outside of whangamata. Road noise was not noticeable. Pretty next to the river. Lots of room for lots of vans.

It was a good place, no commodities but 5$ per person. There are a little river, this place is very calm

Awesome spot! Only $5,- p.p. and a nice deck to spend the evening or morning on. Unfortunately no toilets but we Would stay here again 10/10

Gorgeous little spot! We arrived late in the evening (9.30/10) and there was loads of room. There aren't any toilets or powered spots but it's a wonderful little spot. The sky was clear and amazing to sit and watch in the evening and during the day you can sit on the deck by the river. We wished we could have spent longer during the day. As others have sound there is some noise from the road but we didn't notice it once we'd settled in for the night. Fully recommend.

Such an incredible spot on the river and bloody brilliant bang for your buck! The road behind can be a little noisy due to being the main road into Whangamatā but everything else makes up for it. The wildlife is beautiful, there is kayaks available to use on the river, quick ten minute drive into Whangamata town center, and you can just pay for your stay straight into the honesty box on the deck instead of having to go into a reception area. Will definitely be back, thanks Little Onion :)

Such a lovely spot. Do keep to the grassy areas, the ground can be a bit undulating in places. There's a large decked area by the river. If you're super lucky Morgan will talk to you and show you the river eels It was so informative and great to see them.up close. Thank you

Really beautiful and calm spot with a river to swim in and a really nice owner that helped us kick start our car when we didn’t have any battery left!

Great spot to chill out for the night outside of town.
