Pretty basic, but felt like a safe place to camp with decent facilities. Baz was very helpful in getting us set up.

Other than the cheap price absolute no recommendation. The „campsite“ is a uneven and muddy parking space in front of a cabin and is by far the worst I’ve seen in 5 months of travelling across New Zealand. If you have a different option, don’t bother going here.

I was planning to stay one night in this place but liked it so much that I decided to stay one more. Toilets and kitchen were very clean and the staff is really kind and helpful. If I go back to Coromandel, I'll stay here again.

A fantastic spot with a helpful and friendly owner. Baz was welcoming, helped us set up and get the power connected to our camper and pointed us in the direction of the lookout. Rustic bathroom with charm, plenty of hooks to hand your items! Amazing shower that had great water pressure and wasn’t timed (unlike a number of places I’ve stayed). Waterfront is just across the road.

A lovely spot with a lovely owner. This guy is passionated and friendly. We even got some lettuce from his garden.

Very good experience in this campsite! The manager is really very friendly and offered us a caravan to avoid sleeping in a tent in the rain! (tomatoes from his garden) The toilets and showers are very clean and there is all the equipment for cooking

Very nice campsite with clean kitchen and bathroom facilities. The owners were very friendly and had some nice tips what to do in the area.

We stayed two nights in this spectacular place. The manager is a sweetheart, he gave us many travel recommendations. In the place you can take a walk through the forest with a panoramic view of the beach, you can also see kiwis. It is full of plants and birds. We paid $15 a night per person for an unpowerful and not self contained space. The hot showers have very good pressure, the place is very clean, the kitchen is very complete. Highly recommended.

We arrived at this campsite at the end of the day ready to pitch our tent wet from the rain the day before.. the owner of the campsite offered us to sleep in one of his caravans for the same price, he was very welcoming and very kind ! He even gave us tangerines when we left! I very warmly recommend this well-located campsite! The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean!! THANKS !!
