Nice flat way there but many bicycles, then 300m path through the forest uphill. Unfortunately there is hardly any water today and many people.

Nice long waterfall hidden away from the road and the path along the river. Calm surrounding. Not much visited I guess but worth a stop. It's not accessible by car, you need to walk e.g. From car park at Owharoa falls.

One of our favourite waterfalls in NZ so far! So hidden but so beautiful- well worth the walk (which is lovely in its own right)!

Could not find a parking space in suitable proximity. We did not want to walk more than 5 km. Have driven without seeing the waterfall
