Charlie was such a great help! We didn’t have a penny card, only a penny account. He helped us to enter and sorted everything out. A very nice cozy camping site!!

It was a good and safe stay for the night.

Aside from needing the Penny Card, this place is great. Very clean facilities (toilet, shower). Nice sauna and hot tub area. Charlie has put a lot of time and effort into his campsite which you can see at various points in the site.

Amazing place! Make sure to bring a Penny card in order to use the toilet, shower, washer, dryer, and get your car through the gate. We ended up staying longer as it was so nice! No sandflies either!!

Lovely campsite to stay at with good facilities but definitely need an extra toilet and shower. One of each just isn’t enough when it’s full

We had a really great stay and highly recommend the campground. You can book your site using the Penny app, and at the BP gas station in Westport, you can buy a Penny card for $5, which you can then top up online. The showers and toilets are very clean, the shower has hot water and a good, strong spray. Charlie is very friendly and even raised the appropriate flag for arriving guests.

If you didn’t want to pay, there is a free camping sight 500m up the road with a toilet. For some reason it isn’t on camper mate

Nice Spot with free cold showers or paid hot showers. Both toilets and showers very clean and accessible by Kiwi chip. Powered Sites also available. 15$ per night. Good alternative if the free spot down the street at the Beach is full. Would stay again! Must do booking, but is done fast!

Kiwicash needed - available at bp gas station in town. One toilet and one shower but clean & it was not to crowded so all good. Definitely a good spot before heading to watch seals!
