Toilet and shower facilities were dirty , mouldy and run down. Taps in wash sinks were push button and very high water pressure resulted in water everywhere.communal kitchen was dirty and mouldy, lounge was awful. Much nicer options nearby for similar price.
Good, clean and quiet spot for the night.
Dated and frankly unclean kitchen and living space. Mould on the ceiling and we saw mouse droppings. Showers were warm and good pressured. But not enough toilets or showers for the amount of campers. Quality of site did not match the cost. Glowworm tour is nice but is on a public track easily accessible if staying at other campsite/hostel in town (which we would recommend doing).
Level park for motorhome, toilets and showers could do with a renovation. Needs more washing machines
Everything is fine! catch up the rain without seeing the snow.
The person at reception wasn't very friendly; they gave us four pitch numbers, BUT there were no signs indicating the pitches. There are three toilets for 21 pitches, two of which have showers... so if you need to use the toilet while the showers are in use, good luck. There are more showers than toilets.
powerful hot showers, a kitchen and lounge room, great free WiFi, and free glow worm tours through the forest at night (only during summer and autumn months I think). Great value
Plenty of space for a Maui campervan. Very welcoming staff. Nearby café with great fish and chips. Nothing negative to say. Excellent Wi-Fi signal.
great stay and value, simple set up. booking wasnt a guarentee for a powered site as those are first come first serve so make sure you come not too late if you need power. the glow work tour was a great surprise! walking distance to the tour head and nice to do the walk with a group as it felt much safer, especially for those older. only con was the gas grill wasnt working.
We had a fine stay here, especially the guided glow worm tour was great! The owner was very informative and respective, we learned more about glow worms here, than in the Waitomo Caves!
