Drive past the natural burial site (which is also interesting). Nice easy forest walk but you can't see the whole giant just the massive lower trunk, still impressive though.

Easy 30min return walk

Fast and friendly walk through the forest. Only one trail, no loop possible. Made in 45 minutes (with photo pause). No view but the tree is quite spectacular.

Very beautiful and short walk through a jungle-like forest with big trees and many great plants, as you know them from NZ. Everything was still very wet from the rain, so it still smelled nice At the end of this "walk highlight" you see this nice tree standing.

Another bush walk, easy, but nice big tree at the end of the track. Saw a weka as well. Not a must do but funny if you'd like to see a very big tree !!
