Beautiful spot, unfortunately closed for maintenance with big padlock (july)

Very nice and remote place even if nearby the highway. Flourishing fauna and Flora. No amenities but when self contained no need of anything else than nature and Peaceful place like it ! ;-)

A beautiful camping spot very peaceful we managed to get 25foot van in to a spectacular spot, massive bird life, even in drought Macquarie River still flowing admittedly less water, a couple of tight squeezes getting but drive careful, fully self contained van

Stayed there before visiting the Zoo. Great spot, loads of space, spectacular river views and although near the highway, limited road noise. Thanks to this site for this great find, I’ll be back again for sure
