I made contact with the Dubbo City Council & they advised me that someone would attend to the state of the public toilets the following day ! 🤞
Definitely requires some TLC! Toilets were unfit for human use as they were all totally blocked . Otherwise it would be a nice spot on the river , with a pleasant walking track .
The place needed cleaning up. Unfortunately the Ladies was unusable with both loos totally blocked up. As a result the ground near my campervan was soiled and putting my yoga mat down wasn't an option. I asked the Information office in town to report this which was received unenthusiastically by junior staff. Hope they get it cleaned up soon, the place is inherently so beautiful.
Very nice camping spot. 1 on 2 female toilets was clean but take some toilet paper with you, just in case. Space can be quite full so try to come early. Take earplugs if you are a light sleeper as the cockatoos will be signing a lot. Clean after yourself. Bins are available.
Quiet spot to stay the night. The toilets are currently blocked (12/3/25)
Very good place to camp for a night. Access to toilets which are quite old unfortunately lots of insects (wasps, ants, mosquitoes..)
Great spot, not far out of town, toilet block, plenty of bins, plenty of space, water tank, lots of mossies at night, lovely sunset.
Not a lot of room to park better going 6kms feather to the other reserve plenty of room there
Good if you want to meet people and socialize because there are a lot of people, the birds are extremely noisy but it's not unpleasant, it's cool to see! On the other hand, the sanitary facilities are really the bare minimum and the tap water is not drinkable. But hey, it's free so it's normal that it's not the best!
Good spot for a night! Love the birds and the creek! Nice sunset!
