Camped for free across from the pub. Had lovely food, cold pints and friendly chats with staff. Recommend to stop in Ballimore

Stayed for 1 night October 2024. Camping is free across from the pub, felt safe here. Some of the best food we’ve had in a long time! Could use showers after purchasing at the pub. Public toilets also available at the adjacent park. Quiet for us no train noise 😊

Stayed for a night in April 2022. You can camp on the outside for nothing, toilets in park next door. I stayed in the pub grounds & paid $5 for access to shower & toilet(!). Excellent pub, great food. No Optus connection but I think they have Wi-fi(?). Place was up for sale, I hope new owners keep it the same.

Stayed last night inside the pub grounds. Enjoyed chatting to other campers/travellers in the bar. Good food. Quiet spot. Interesting building. Sandra

Very nice grass area to pull the caravan up. Free site or $10 with power. Great meals at the pub which also has pizzas. All reasonably priced. The beers are cold! You can't go passed this little gem.
