Very pretty location, little river going through it. Not noisy at all and several areas so you don't need to be too close to each other. No bins or facilities.
Great place here at the end of April, 3.7 km from Melrose and about 15km from Alligator Gorge. Can have a fire if not fire danger season, only one other person on the first night, 4 or 5 vans/campers the second night!

Nice area for one night, quite a few more private areas away from road, lots of flies when we were there.

REST AREA IS CLOSED. Drove from Coober Pedy to this rest area and all 3 access roads are shut. This is because they’re doing substantial roadworks and using the rest stop as a staging area. Had to back track to Wilmington. I would presume this rest area will be closed for the foreseeable further.
Quiet and pleasant place, the road is not far less but very little traffic at night No trash, no toilet Take your waste with you !!
Ok.. Fairly quiet. Best spots are in under the trees. No rubbish bins
Great place for a one night stop over. Large area and near the road but vehicles quieten down during the night. Not a bad view either!
