Great place to stay. Clean toilet (the other one was out of service). Friendly owner. Plenty of room. Recommend it.
Small campsite with predefined seats. Maximum 72h on site and free with 2 unisex toilets in the city center. Simple and efficient
There's at least 17 caravan parked, I felt safe and the toilet is so clean. Love this place!
It is nothing special, but you are right in the middle of town, the toilets (unisex) are clean. No power or anything. Please give a little donation, the owner told us, that not a lot of people do that.
Stayed here with our pop up tent and no problem at all. Toilet next to the miners museum entrance. Good phone signal.
One of the two toilets is working again. A good place for a one-two night stay. Be sure to visit the museum.
Great spot, but it fills up pretty quickly in the evening. There are currently no restrooms available on site because they're being renovated. However, there are restrooms a little higher up by the winch, which you can use during the café/restaurant's opening hours. The staff are super friendly and easygoing—it wasn't a problem that we didn't have a fully self-sufficient vehicle (a van with a roof tent).
It’s is free but a donation is appreciated. Great spot! Stayed there for 2 nights and worth it. Plenty of space and it’s not noisy. There is toilet but no shower- you can pay only $5 for a hot shower at petrol station.
Fantastic site considering it’s free. The owner is polite, there’s enough space for probably thirty caravans, but only one toilet was accessible. Surprisingly sheltered from the wind even though just it’s a vacant lot. Within a five-minute walk of grocery store and main attractions. The self-guided tour was illuminating and worth the money. 72-hour limit.
Very handy spot, lots of space but was quite full at 8pm. Had free toilets for use at the museum next door and some tank water. Well located
