Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the pictures on Campermate or Google Maps. The access to the platform appears to have been washed out for some time and is no longer passable. There are spots on the grass just before it. Watch out for snakes.
amazing campspot! did it in an AWD Honda CRV and was doable. have seen xtrails as well. most beautiful campsite I have ever stayed at.
Great place to spend a day and spend the night. Breathtaking views of the ocean at sunrise and sunset. The red cliffs are magnificent.
One of the best spots in Aus.
So far one of the best camp spots. Come here and gaze at nature’s beauty. Red rocks paired with lavender meet the blue sea. Lovely spot!
Stunning place! Even if you don’t camp, you need to come here. Road very bumpy during 30km but it’s worth it. Come early cause there isn’t a lot of space. You’re very high so safe from crocs. You can get gown to the beach to fish. Beautiful!
Best of the free camps. 4wd accessible only. Road is heavily corrugated and soft sand on the track down to the point. Low tide is good for rock pools and collecting oysters etc for bait. High tide looks beautiful against the red cliffs. Very quite. Very hot. No shade - bring your own.
Awesome spot, even saw a croc far in the ocean. Plenty of room by the ocean and in the bush
Without a doubt the most beautiful campsite yet. Managed in Subaru Forester with off-road tires. Sandy/corrugated road in but nothing new for us. Campsites on cliff so not parked in soft sand. Absolutely recommend.
So beautiful it’s a must see !! Roads are little bumpy but worth the trip out
