Okay for one night but not more. It's old and not really clean. It's okay but too expensive for what you get. Did not really had a warm welcome felt like I'm disturbing which is not really nice.
Great campsite! Hot showers and clean restrooms. Large kitchen and dining area. Swimming pool open from 1 pm to 7 pm and a playground. Beach access 200 meters away. I highly recommend it.
Good spot...good facilities. Just don't have your outside light on at 10.31 while cleaning up and saying goodnight to fellow travellers coz security will be right there...looking like a drunken fellow traveller....telling you lights need to be off at 10.30! Ummm... didn't think the kiwi's were that pedantic!
Very good campsite! Simple but well equipped with a swimming pool and close access to the beach. Quiet and secure location.
Ok for one night… facilities are very dated
Our very first stop of our roadtrip in NZ was off to a good start. Beautiful view with a beach with a lot of character is just a few steps away. Facilities are clean, nice little playground for the little ones. Recommend!
Large, friendly caravan park with lots of permanent vans as well. Facilities are spotless. Walk through the golf course to have a drink at their club - very friendly. Short walk down to the beach. Four Square shop about 7km before the camp site is good.
Stayed here as our first destination from Auckland on our road trip around NZ & it was a nice stop, the lovely lady at reception made us feel welcome and helped with any questions. Even gave us a great site which had lovely views of sunsets each night. Plenty of toilets and showers & has a communal kitchen & BBQ area. Unfortunately there was quite a lot of flies in the kitchen which was off-putting but other than that it wasn’t bad, also these areas were very busy at times but just time it right
Came here solely based on them having wifi as I needed to do work. They reluctant gave me a code for 250Mb. This ran out quickly and the online service wants you to pay. I didn't find this site at all preferred in anyway. We wl move elsewhere tomorrow for better Internet.
Great facilities with strong hot water showers and clean toilets. BIG kitchen area for cooking, cleaning and hanging out but you do have to bring your own supplies. We had lots of space but it probably gets very loud and busy during peak seasons. Mini golf is included but it's on concrete with aloe Vera and fruit obstacles. Unfortunately wifi not included. Also has playground, swimming pool, games room (pool, table tennis) but we didn't use it
