Unfortunately this is the worst and weirdest campsite I’ve stayed at during my 3 months in NZ so far. It’s more like a trailor park with majority of spots being taken by permanent residents. Kitchen is filthy with cockroaches on the floor and in the cupboards. Bathrooms are also not great. Got out of there as early as I could and went down the road to pacific park campsite - it’s more expensive but it’s 100% worth it!

As a female solo traveler, I felt very safe and people were so nice. You have a 5mn hot shower and nice kitchen. The wifi can be really slow.

Family camp. As a female solo traveller, i felt safe. Surrounded by other tourists, young ppl WHV. Cool place to meet travellers. Kitchen with utilities that gets crowded at peak times .... Clean toilets with hot water shower, good pressure. Nice & welcoming recepcionist, both, either young Lady + woman that allowed me to extend a bit check out time as i was doing laundry (clothe in the dryer)

So disgusting toilets and showers. Didn’t feel safe at all. Smelled like weed on the camping ground. Definitely go to one of the many others in the era…

We were supposed to pay $20 per person for this campsite, but upon arrival, the lady told us that around Christmas it costs $30. It wasn’t worth the money. The kitchen was dirty, the fridges as well, the washing machines smelled bad, and the bathroom was okay but outdated. I do not recommend it.

We didn't even go there because the lady on the phone was extremely rude and arrogant. The store is not recommended. But I'm probably not the first person to notice an extremely rude emo catcher. Greetings to the lady if she reads this ;)

Quite expensive for the equipment! The toilets are clean, but the shower didn't get warmer than 28 degrees. There is the option to charge your devices, but there is only limited space and there were a lot of people at the store. The kitchen is fine, but you have to cook your own food.

Would not recommend, rude and seemed inconvenienced by us asking to book a space. Avoid.

I wouldn’t recommend this camp. We paid 50$ for 2 although it’s said 30 on the app. The facilities are awfull and small for the amount of persons camping. Moreover, the wifi doesn’t work. It’s so expensive for what it is …
