Lovely spot to stay at, lovely hot shower with good pressure, toilets clean. Lovely stream to left of the camp for kids to play in, and we loved that our dog was also welcome there too, we were on railway side , would try and get beach side next time if possible. Husband caught 3 lovely snapper

The noisiest campsite we’ve stayed in over 6 weeks (in a tent). If the noise from the road doesn’t wake you, the vibration from the monster trains that run through the night will. Great spot apart from the noise, however we found the noise at night unbearable. A camper may be better

Showers are just warm, not hot. The campsite is pretty noisy as it's next to the road and railway.

Loved this place so much, went back a second night. Clean flushing toilets with great hot showers, good pressure. Big sites for $20 per site. Trains no bother. Great place to watch the sunrise from. Will be my go-to when I’m in the bay of plenty in future

Very isolated and dark under trees. Beach one side and train tracks the other. Noise from road and trains but the trains were interesting as so close. Hot showers were a bonus. They seemed to be used by local people but this was no bother.

Lovely campsite next to a gorgeous beach. Paid (cash or online) for two adults. Very clean flush toilets and a cold shower. No bugs! Only downside is as mentioned next to a train line so if you are a really light sleeper might not be good for you, but it only went maybe once whilst we slept.

Loved this place! Free warm showers, huge site for $20 per night. Beach is great but not really suitable for swimming though. Norfolk pines are full of pigeons, so watch the poo! (And giant pine cones). Yes the road is noisy, and the train even more so but worth overlooking. Great spot!
