This was a welcome surprise after a dodgy night camping at the Tokomaru Motor Camp. The showers here were very hot, the grounds were well maintained, and the fish n chips from the store was great!! A great place for the night and cheap to boot

Great location, quiet, clean and tidy. Great showers and laundry facilities. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely camping ground but the showers were not good. You had to pay for a Luke warm shower. Personally I would rather pay more per night and get a decent shower.

Facilities a bit old, but ok for a night. Arrived late, didn’t see any note of a number to call after hours just to be informed that they are actually closed! Didn’t see any sign indicating that. Probably better to stay at the free site just metres down the road.

Facilities tired and run down but were very clean. Lots of old stuff laying around the camp ground which the kids felt was a bit creepy. Nice walk to the beach and playground. But we loved the remote rustic and relaxed charm of the place. Handy having the store and fish n chip shop right there.

Staff were friendly enough. Place was clean. Showers were hot. I camped one night. No complaints. There were very few other campers in late Jan.
