Good adrenaline in cold water flowing quickly and roaring against you in quite high and narrow tunnel mostly around knee-deep,highest at chest. But the current was too strong at one waterfall about halfway maybe meter high without any step or hold just slick slippery walls. So had to go all the way back. But worth trying, made me humble when I saw the vortex swirling into the cave at the dry walkway viewpoint.
Awesome cave! Water is definitely cold . Way more comfortable with a wetsuit. Deepest points were waist deep (167cm tall). Took us 1,5 hours in total. Cave itself 75 minutes. Awesome adventure and definitely watch out for the weather forecast. You can magine really well, how fast those tunnel could be flooded.
Super expérience, très originale, nous l’avons fait ce jour avec de l’eau jusqu’à la taille en début de parcours. L’eau était très très froide, mais on s’y habitue. À recommander aux personnes aventureuses !
What is amazing experience. Our family 2 adults and 3 kids (8yrs & two 6yrs). We were prepared with torches and wetsuits for the kids. Had a brilliant time! there were times that water was over their heads but we carried them through
I’m not a caver but the entrances were super cool to see! A nice loop walk and some interesting information about the land
Very low flow at the moment as you would expect which makes this easier to complete. Make sure you have good sturdy footwear and spare batteries for head torch. Watch out for the big spiders in there, seem to be heaps this summer. ??
A great experience! Pay close attention to the water level when entering. We did it on 11.10.20 and on the first pool we had water at the level of the hips (we are both 1m70). The current was really strong at certain points. What you see in front of the cave as you walk towards the entrance is what will be inside (see more sometimes). To do only well equipped for the cold (warm top and leggings type bottom) there is an explanation before starting the walk in the parking lot. If you do, get used to the sport and don't be claustrophobic. Some passages are quite stressful because they are tight and with current. We were happy. E to see the light at the end!
Superb cave !! Very cool water in August, be careful with strong current and some difficult parts to go through. Done in 30 min
Super cave! Do not hesitate for a second, the water is cold, and you need a good frontal but the crossing is done in 1 hour easily, we took 45 min. Magnificent! We saw a lot of Gloworm. (Done in March 2020)
Absolutely to do! In the first pool we had water to the top of the waist and very cold and all the rest of the cave no higher than the knees! 2 or 3 passages slightly complicated to climb if there is a lot of current but nothing is impossible! The cave is magnificent and the experience unforgettable! We end up with a fairly steep ladder that leads to the exit!
