Lots of space, choose where you want to camp. Toilets, water, leave when you want. Only $5 per person. Beautiful quiet surroundings would recommend.
Nice, friendly, huge area for tents, campers, anything. Toilets and drinking water, no showers or rubish bins. 5$ på or 10$ per family. Convenient for what it is, basic, and I would say good value.
As a family friendly, nicely tree sheltered place to camp at and enjoy this has been largely destroyed by an over zealous council who have removed most of the trees and left an untidy dust bowl. Hopefully a replanting program will be instigated but it will take years for this area to recover. Congratulations Hurunui council, you've done it again.
Very large open area close to the busy road. All the pine trees are cut, all together a very poor camping place. Rate still at $5 pp Can not recommended this area for overnight stays.
Closed indefinitely
Nice reserve with a ton of space. Stayed there 1 night with my tent, very quiet, there's big toilets and a sink where you can do the dishes.
Fire pits but no fire allowed. Toilets but no toilet paper. Your paying for access to water and to sleep beside a busy road.
Stayed one night, love female. Was ace. All you needed and so much space and shade. Have toilet roll
Massive camping area with lots of good drinking water. Options for some shade amongst the trees. Lovely committee member in a caravan far right corner to take payment. $5 a night.
Plenty of space for campers. $5 per night. Plenty of trees for shade.
