Not the flattest place. Flushing toilets a few steps away that are kept clean. Right next to some very nice cafes! It is on the main road so if you’re a light sleeper it might not be the best, we had no trouble though.
Not flat. Otherwise good as.
At 2:40 am there are a vehicle parked in a clearly marked and designated self-contained area being used for overnight stay. Both vehicles are not self-contained and are occupying a space reserved exclusively for self-contained vehicles.
Got here a bit early maybe 6:30 and the parking lot was completely empty so I decided to park up early. Someone who was absolutely munted rolled up and was blasting EDM in the bathroom for an hour, and then his drug dealer showed up. Was super sketchy. Didn’t feel safe sleeping here. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re a solo female traveller. Would stop to pee and fill my water only
Nice (3) benches. Clean. There are only two spots and it was full at 6pm even if you are only aloud to stay there after 8pm. There is a 🚰 drinking water and bottle filling station. There are gender specific flushing toilets with a sink soap 🧼 and a hand dryer. There ist basically a graveld parking lot. It's quit noisy because it's right next to the street.
Nice spot. Toilets are fine, but too much traffic noise at night. A lot of drivers stop to use the toilets, which increases the noise.
Toilets are okay. However, it is much too loud at night. Cars and trucks race past you all night. The place is right on the street. We could not sleep. Was only a stopgap solution because we were on our way to Christchurch in the middle of the night because of the lockdown.
Expect noise from the street, but it is for free. Toilets, thrash bins, camping tables nearby
Nice little car park on the side of a busy road, toilets very very good (flush) clean. Overall very happy??
Nice place to stay, with a few picnic tables and enough space for a game on the lawn. Clean flushing toilets. Kind locals at the cafe and bar opposite. #Leavenotrace
