Great quiet spot with very clean toilets. If you want unpowered with only access to toilet not shower you can pay via penny webaite online without the fob. If you want to plug the campervan in or use the hot shower then you will need the fob before you get there.

Great spot, out of the way & quiet. Good facilities (showers & toilets) 8 powered sites & many non powered. Paid with the Penny app/card. No dogs.

Nice campsite with toilets and hot water showers upon donation. We were the only ones here and surprised about that since it’s quite a large place in the green. Facilities were clean even if looked a bit left behind.

Peaceful and clean. Only a few campers there. Toilets working and clean. 3 NZD paid with Penny/KiwiCash. Campsite can be paid via the same, or cash in honesty box. Great views.

Now $ per night for toilet block but really nice and clean in there. VERY muddy when I was there! Could barely get my van (2WD) off the road and into a campsite. Nice, quiet spot though and close to hwy 1

We were a bit confused from the earlier comments, but this is a free site for 6 vehicles max (left hand side when you go in). Flat ground. They ask a donation for using the toilet block etc, well worth it for hot shower. Lovely neighbours and live music for Waitangi weekend, highly recommend

Make sure you are going to get on with your neighbours! Packed like sardines. Great spot though.
