We were send away by a very angry lady. We just wanted some info if there was any space for the night even tho there was a sign of no vacancy. We were looking for the office to ask then the owner came up and told us to turn around and leave the way we came. Apperantly they are closed. She was yelling and unrespectfull.
Such a fantastic place, quite hard to find, but worth the effort. Peace, birdsong, and such sweet and hospitable hosts, would love to stay for at least a week, and just enjoy the peace.
A very special place, Linda is a great host. Make sure you book in advance as it is not always open. Warm shower, otherwise only cold water. Electricity connection, pool (!), toilets.
This place is really nice! Linda is a sweetheart, let me have a swim in the pool and stay longer the next day! I highly recommend this place, you don’t hear anything except the song birds. The facilities are clean. It’s better if you have cash to pay 25$ per person!
The Staging Post is open most of the time in summer, but it pays to book as occasionally (one or two days a week) the place is closed. In winter The Staging Post is usually closed during the week, but call to check. $25 per person per night, $16 per child. Swimming pool, hot showers, good kitchen, but no WiFi or washing machine. Lovely short walks through trees.
Very nice place. Another campsite. Much more idyllic, much quieter and more secluded than on top 10 campsites. Nice hostess with easy cash payment $20 per person per night. Clean kitchen, toilet, hot shower, pool and lounge. Lots of shade and no noise, rather a beautiful view and idyll.
Very nice place set in a calm beautiful rural landscape, you hear songs of birds and animals also farm animals in the nearby. Linda is a very friendly host she offered us a coffee and a lovely conversation the next morning. Facilities are renovated, well equipped kitchen and hot shower, several toilets, we had a memorable stay in this place, definitely recommended
Because of the fire risk we could not stay there, but they are very kind and helped us find another site. Seems like a very cool place, if you get the chance you should stay here
The campsite is open, but there's no Wi-Fi. A small kitchen, playroom, and bathrooms. A nice old lady showed me around.
Told us the camping was closed
