This combined with the rockslide are well worth the trip off the main track. Almost wasnt going to go but so glad we did as they are amazing.

Its amazing to go behind this plenty of water!

Going through a dry spell at the moment so not a lot of water, but still enough to get a very decent waterfall. Going underneath and behind the falls is super!

A nice looking fall mainly because of its width I find. Also you can walk behind it and I missed that, looks so cool!

Had a great power shower here after stopping in our self-contained vehicle in this loverly little spot. If you are going to get in then it's worth the trek. No one here early in morning.

The water is not very cold. Skip the first one and walk further behind the waterfall. Massage in all strengths available and build it up back to the beginning. After spending some time underneath the first one I had sore muscles for 2 days, lol!

Dangerous to swim in due to water quality after rain

Not the best one on North Island but it is nice on the other hand. Very long though! Nice stop on the way to Rere rock slide.

If you want to see a really beautiful and special waterfall, this would not be my first choice. We are not under water at all, because we did not think it looked very nice. We preferred the Rere rockslide which was cool.
