Extremely rude and unprofessional owner. Avoid at all costs. First, we were told we could dump our grey water on the grass by an employee, then the owner walked over with the employee passive aggressively discussing how we should be dumping it there. However, the owner did not address us directly despite being 1 meter away. We tried to pay for a powered site, however the machine did not register our card. The whole time the owner was extremely rude to us, despite us trying to offer payment.

Shower is $3 for 5 minutes

Parking on the side of a very busy road. Convenient, clean and plentiful toilets. Free Wi-Fi in the cafe. Showers available for a fee using the Kiwicamp card. Laundry facilities also available for a fee.

Quiet noisy bc next to highway and truck stop. Washing machines and dryers out of order DO NOT USE. Facilities are alright, didn’t take a shower yet. The camp ground is also quiet empty, just one other car (we stayed here on a Saturday).

The facilities were dirty, visibly not cleaned for long time, lock on cubicle door to outside broken, no soap in dispenser. I wldn't risk the dirty looking showers. Road is noisy at ngt, however its cheap starting at $15.

Came here to use the kiwi cash/penny showers. Showers were freezing cold so would not recommend for that. But litterally across the street is the truck stop showers also operated by kiwi cash /penny and they do have hot water.

Facilities are great and accom is cheap! There is also a lovely cat who lives there - she is very friendly and inquisitive. We were so smitten with her that we left her some food! If you stay here, could you do the same as it is unclear if she has a home 💗

WiFi is not working.

Nice place, secure with lots of CCTV, showers are decent but on a solar system so can be average after prolonged overcast weather but there is another shower block connected to the cafe that's better apparently, could do with new draught stops on doors to bathrooms as wind wips under there and will be quite brutal in winter I imagine. Cafe opens based on how booked they are, can get some solid hearty meals and good coffee. Excellent free wifi in the Kiwicamp section, average cell reception

Free dump site outside the camp we used it twice. Free fresh water fill up. Seems to be several camper vans staying outside the gate for free. Maybe that's why you have to pay to use the facilities? Good place to dump before the ferry. Lots of parking as it's a truck stop
