Paid online to book for a spot at the site. When we got there the site was packed and we were unable to find a spot that would fit our tents comfortably. Unfortunately we couldn’t rebook for another less busy time. But we didn’t mind losing out on a bit of money to go find a less busy camp site.

Awesome campground managed by regional council. Close to a river with a nice swimming hole. We really enjoyed our stay there, will definitively come back. Bring soap and drinking water. Public toilet have hot water. Booking required, from website.

Site is chained shut - certainly not wanting campers or anyone else to access. Access is through a farm paddock which may be the issue.

Yes looked a nice spot but certainly chained up at both ends of the gate to stop access

Gate chained and padlocked certainly don't want campers!

All we could find is a sign saying 'Scenic Reserve' pointing down a track with a locked gate on it at the entrance.
