Ideal for self contained vehicles as it’s essentially just a field off the main road so no facilities directly on site. There is a dump station and drinking water tap in the adjacent car park. The gate is padlocked shut and the field is surrounded by a fence so felt very safe and secure at night! Only $10 for the night which is paid at the Mobil station over the road

It is at the A & P Show Grounds. Put the combination lock number 2 notches above the line. Once we managed to find it we found a great spot overlooking the river.

It is what it is. Hate is not at the pinned mark. You go to Mobil gas station pay and get the code for the lock. Plenty of space here, no lights.

The parking spot is in the fenced area. You have to go to Mobile Gas station and pay 10 NZD, you will get the code for the lock on the gate. The gate itself is a bit further then the one you will find from the parking lot behind the museum (with spot for grey water and drinking water). Public toilets 400m, but they are closed at night.

GPS location was off a few meters, it’s a bit further down the road and difficult to spot in the dark (no sign). There is a gate with a padlock and the space is next to the horse training parkour . 10$ pay at Mobil . It was only one other car with us yesterday, place feels very safe! Dump station very close behind isite, public toilets and good water fountains are close to i site by the playground

Campsite is open you just have to enquire at the mobil. 10$ a night to stay in a field with no facilities. Not bad

Nice secure spot with shade and LOTSA room, away from Rd noise. AND you get to park beside the horse jumps..

Perfect stop over safe and secure Code dial at bottom of what appears to be a padlock
