A very nice and quiet campsite. All facilities are well-maintained and very clean. You need $1 coins for the showers, which can be purchased at reception. The host is very welcoming and helpful. Would gladly return! 😊
Great spot. Beautiful harbour. Friendly staff. Hot showers. Very clean toilets and kitchen etc. Price is the same powered or unpowered.
Such a nice place to stay! Very quiet and beautiful landscape. The owner is super nice, the kitchen spacious and there’s also a shared living room. Almost empty as we visited in the middle of winter so we could enjoy the space. Bathrooms very clean, only 1$ per 4minutes (think to have some cash on you ;) )
Lovely relaxing atmosphere extremely clean and tidy. Right on the edge of the Kaipara Harbour with amazing views. Friendly camp manager and georgous pizzas on a Friday and Saturday nights 10/10 from me.
Nice place, however the excessive price for simply a place without electricity without shower included, we paid $25 each, even though we only had a car. We are far from the $18 displayed on CamperMate. The shower is $1 for “3 minutes” where the time is not even displayed. We can find better!
Clean tidy campground, showers were good but $1 coin operated. Kitchen tidy and large. No complaints
Great setting with tidy lawns and panoramic views of estuary. Concrete bench tops suitably positioned especially the ones underneath the old fig tree. The well equipped kitchen is clean and so are the showers. Water pressure & temp somewhat off. Well worth the fee pp for powered site. Thx for accommodating us upon arrival. A definite stop!!!
This camp is great, every time I come up north I stay, once you are here you are on holiday.
Just a fabulous wee spot quiet. The most amazing Morton Bay Fig apparently the largest in NZ.
Great wee spot. Friendly manager, small grounds with great charm, and enormous Morton Bay Fig! Wharf has lighting for nighttime fishing too!
