Road was closed. We drove a good ways only to have to turn around.
Lovely spot for a swim and some lunch at the picnic table at the waterfall - worth a detour. We had the whole place to ourselves so peaceful
Path to the waterfall is flooded after rains. Unfortunately we couldn't get to the waterfall.
A nice place to stop off the main road. Look for signs for the Piroa falls. 6 k on unsealed road but good condition. Short walk out to the falls
Really pretty but not worth a detour.
Currently no swimming due to contamination, only temporary until tested safe. But beautiful with lot of basins down the waterfall and river (would’ve been epic swimming holes)
Beautiful spot with a big picnic table I would recommend to take your lunch! Was quite busy while we were here lots of families kids all having a splash
A nice spot for a little break (a picnic table is available) when in the area, in the middle of nowhere. Note: it leads a gravel road, drive according to the conditions.
A nice waterfall down steps and across a slightly rocky path. Uphill on the way back to the parking area/lay by. It seems quite popular. Signposted from main road.
Cute little gorge but can't swim at the moment due to bacteria contamination
