Deffo worth it. Cum ear have a picnic cuz there’s a nice picnot bench and the waterfall is sick!! Jumped off it a few times and will probably go for round 2 next time I’m passing by XD XD
Road open, nice waterfall after just short walk…. When I was there it was all occupied by mothers with small kids, teenagers…. So only a short stop for me- too noisy for my taste! If you are lucky to have it for your own- very nice!
Road open. Steep start to walk. Some minor scrambling especially once reaching the end and need to either clamber down bank to river bed, or take shoes off, to get a good view of entire falls from the bottom. One concrete picnic table at the end. Slippery clay if going to river bed at end.
Road was closed. We drove a good ways only to have to turn around.
Lovely spot for a swim and some lunch at the picnic table at the waterfall - worth a detour. We had the whole place to ourselves so peaceful
Path to the waterfall is flooded after rains. Unfortunately we couldn't get to the waterfall.
A nice place to stop off the main road. Look for signs for the Piroa falls. 6 k on unsealed road but good condition. Short walk out to the falls
Really pretty but not worth a detour.
Currently no swimming due to contamination, only temporary until tested safe. But beautiful with lot of basins down the waterfall and river (would’ve been epic swimming holes)
Beautiful spot with a big picnic table I would recommend to take your lunch! Was quite busy while we were here lots of families kids all having a splash
