Went just for the quick lookout from the hill above carpark (Goldschmidt track) and got amazing 360 over sand spit and rest of the coast track. Very rewarding

Lovely walk, we did it on a cloudy day I can imagine it is beautiful in full sunshine! Walked up along the cliffs and back along the beach to make it into a loop (not possible at high tide!)

This is an amazing walk and one of our highlights of Northland! Amazing views of Poor Knights and beautiful beaches! We did the beach part first and returned along the cliffs as you can't return on the beach within 3 hrs each side of high tide, so check tides!

The Mangawhai Cliff Walkway is a very beautiful walk. But it’s necessary to be prepared. It takes kind a 2.5 or 3 hours to do the walk. Have something to drink and a little snack with you. It’s also great if you have a rainproofed jacked with you when the weather turns. We had at the end very nice weather. I would advice to do this walk to everyone!
