We were awakened at 3:00 in the night, by a car that clashed long . They hit a few beats on the van and tried to open the side door. No need to call the police.

Around 10 pm at night heard yelling and then loud banging on our van. A group of young boys/ men in a Ute and lights were going from van to van. Despite being told to leave they didn’t, so we had to get police involved. Wouldn’t recommend staying at this camp alone.

A great spot just near the beach. There are public toilets about 2 minutes walk away and once they close there are 2 portaloos for overnight. Space for about 20 vans. We had no issues with noise or cars/disturbances at all.

nice spot near the beach, loads of space when we arrived but at around 2am teenagers were revving their car up and down the road, screaming, banging on vans felt slightly unsafe

Great spot, there are rubbish bins, portable toilet but also a proper flush toilet 1 minute walk away. Lovely beach nearby and a playground.

Good, quiet spot, great if you have a dog with you. Toilets were fairly clean and tidy - there's some by the rugby club and two extra port a loos at the end of the site. Gravel park up is fairly flat, you need to park between the signs. If you have a dog - you can have them off lead on the field so long as no one is playing sports. They're also allowed off-lead at the beach you can walk down to behind the field. If you walk through the rocks from the beach you can access the big one to south

Full at 19. If people would park good there would be space for much more cars.

About 20 spaces, all full by 18:30 tonight. Has 2 portaloos, close to the beach. Pretty nice

Convenient location with around 20 spaces (note that DOC personnel check in the evening). The portable toilets aren't great. The best part: facing the sea and 20 minutes from Dunedin.

I dont know if its a one time thing but around 2am a bunch of idiot kids came and started knocking on campervans and waking us up it was real scary. It went on for about an hour The police came horrible night.
