Lots of spots, but make sure you get here early (before 6pm ideally). It was frustrating to see many small vans taking spots designed for large campers when there were still small spots. Public toilets were clean and it’s a nice spot to walk around the waterfront.

We arrived at 17:30 and was full. Defo isn’t 50 spots, looks more about 30 which is still great but not ideal given limited options in the city.

The spots get taken quickly, so come in good time! But otherwise a really cozy place, with nice toilets available. We stayed for 2 nights, and it's perfect if you have to take the ferry.

Perfect place to stay if you’re taking the ferry the next day. We arrived at around 16:00, and there were only a couple of spots left. It can be quite noisy because of the traffic, and we were also “lucky” enough to have a strange guy playing really loud music, even after being asked to turn it down. That said, apart from the luck of who happens to be there, it’s a fine place for a free overnight stay and very convenient for catching the ferry the next morning.

Good location, early arrival recommended, very good internet reception, toilets clean, garbage cans available.

Stayed here prior to getting a morning ferry to South island. Positives: good location for ferry, Flat car park. Negatives: Noise from the road and airport, gets busy even off seasons (September) we parked up at 2pm then used bus to get around wellington as it was already busy.

Great location, able to park here while we went into Wellington exploring. 2 toilets, both clean with plenty of toilet roll. We arrived around lunchtime, plenty of spaces to choose from, still 1 or 2 at 10pm
